As you may be aware, major cellular network providers, including AT&T and Verizon, are in the process of shutting down their 3G cellular networks as next-generation LTE technology has now taken its place. When this upgrade occurs, Alert 360 security systems relying on these older cellular connections will not be able to report an alarm to our alarm monitoring center.
We value your business and want to ensure your alarm service is not impacted when this service is discontinued. To guarantee uninterrupted service, it is critical to upgrade your security system to LTE. In addition, this will also provide continued alarm response with an upgraded faster LTE connection that will communicate five times faster with our monitoring center.
If this upgrade is not completed, Alert 360 will not be able to guarantee your system’s ability to communicate with our alarm monitoring center via the cellular network.
