TULSA, Okla., Nov. 16, 2023 On Nov. 16 – 17, national home and business security leader, Alert 360, will support the annual “Sleep Out” event through Covenant House. Covenant House offers housing and support services to young people in need – currently reaching 74,000 youth across the country every year. Alert 360 has supported Covenant House for almost a decade, raising over $130,000 for the non-profit organization through participation in the annual Sleep Out. The national event, held in cities across the country, increases awareness and funds for homeless youth and the Covenant House mission. Alert 360’s President and COO Anastasia Bottos is raising funds for and participating in the Sleep Out event for the ninth consecutive year.
“At Alert 360, we are focused on protecting what matters most to families, businesses, and communities,” said Bottos. “We value the communities where we live and work, and our local team members desire to give back within the cities and neighborhoods they call home. As a security provider specifically, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to sleep as well as hope for the future. Supporting homeless youth through the Covenant House falls right in line with our mission, and we are honored to be able to contribute in this meaningful way.”
Richard Ginsburg, Alert 360 CEO, said “As a team, our more than 900 employees strive to make a positive impact in the lives of others. In addition to helping protect and serve hundreds of thousands of families daily, Alert 360’s employees are dedicated to helping to build stronger, healthier, and safer communities. This includes offering a helping hand when needed. I’m incredibly proud of the Alert 360 team’s giving nature and believe it’s our responsibility to contribute time, money, manpower, or resources when we can. “By participating in the Sleep Out and supporting the fundraising event for the ninth year, Ana is a leading example of the Alert 360 giving and caring spirit. She represents the entire Alert 360 family’s willingness to serve,” said Ginsburg. For more than four decades, Covenant House has helped transform and save the lives of more than a million homeless, runaways, and trafficked young people. The Covenant House empowers young people to overcome homelessness and trafficking by providing them with safe housing, food, clothing, and support. In 34 cities and counting across the United States, Latin America, and Canada, young people are finding hope, strengthening their resilience, and making progress towards their goals with the help of Covenant House’s continuum of care, which includes safe shelter, meals, job training, education opportunities, legal aid, health care, and mental health counseling, as well as birthday parties, movie nights, and community meetings. The organization is open 24/7 for young people in need. Their mission is to provide help and hope to abused and neglected children and the caseworkers who serve them. The organization provides basic, urgent needs; parental support; caseworker assistance, and positive childhood experiences. It promotes nurturing and growth and holds events and fundraisers to assist these efforts. Alert 360 Fort Worth and Houston home security team members also participate every December in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, which helps children and parents in need celebrate Christmas. The Alert 360 team members fill baskets with wish-list items, help with event organization, sort gifts, select clothing for families, and more. Alert 360 Houston team members also participate in an annual Toys for Tots collection and a local food bank event during the holiday season. “Year-round, our Alert 360 offices enjoy supporting local events and fundraisers.
